-고
= "and" — it connects two actions or descriptions into one sentence.
| Verb / Adjective stem | → | + 고 — 가다 → 가고, 좋다 → 좋고 |
| Noun + 이다 (copula) | → | + 이고 — 학생 → 학생이고 |
