👋 Hi, I'm Ting!
I'm a Korean language teacher, host of 6 guesthouses in Seoul,
and a content creator sharing Korean language and culture
on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
I love traveling — but not the typical kind.
Rather than rushing from place to place, I enjoy living like a local and experiencing culture from the inside.
That’s also the kind of experience I want to share with my students and guests:
not just “visiting Korea,” but truly living it.
🧑🏫 10 Years of Teaching Korean
My journey started simply from a love for communication.
Over the past decade, I’ve taught Korean for more than 8,000 hours online,
and have been a full-time teacher for 6 years — now among the top 0.5%.
I’m also a mentor for Korean language teachers.
I’ve mentored over 500 teachers on how to teach Korean more effectively, and even published a book to support fellow educators.
I've also been featured in several media programs related to Korean language education.
Since 2023, I’ve been actively creating Korean learning content on YouTube and Instagram, offering live classes, K-pop & drama-based lessons, memes, games, shadowing, and cultural discussions.
Teaching Korean makes me feel the most “me.”
It’s where I laugh, grow, and connect deeply with people around the world.
🏠 Hosting 6 Guesthouses in Seoul
I also hold a real estate license and currently operate a total of 6 guesthouses.
Among them, 4 have been listed on Airbnb since 2017.
All of my properties have ratings of 4.9 or higher, and I’m proud to be a Superhost.
The other 2 guesthouses, which are not listed on Airbnb, are managed independently by my team.
My father has been in real estate for over 40 years,
and we run our stays as a team — my mom, dad, husband, and me.
Since our home is just 5 minutes from the guesthouses,
our guests can always rely on us.
To many, we’re not just hosts.
We’re their Korean family while they’re here.
