Grammar Point
던데요
= I noticed ___, by the way
| Verb / Adjective stem | → | -던데요 — 좋다 → 좋던데요 |
| Noun + 이다 | → | -(이)던데요 — 학생 → 학생이던데요 |
💡 -길래(Day 93) = notice something → do something about it. -더니(Day 94) = notice a change (state 1 → state 2). -던데요(today) = casually comment on what you noticed.
